VMTS Understanding 2021/2022
The 2021/2022 VMTS understanding survey at FTM Unjani covered 454 students (out of 621), 45 lecturers and 18 administrative staff. 5% for lecturers and 78% for staff. Regression analysis found that only exposure to VMTS information through various media had a significant effect, while demographic factors did not.

Findings & follow-up
The 2021/2022 VMTS understanding survey at FTM Unjani covered 454 students (out of 621), 45 lecturers and 18 administrative staff. The share of respondents who understood the vision, mission, goals and objectives (score 3 or 4) was 86.78% for students, 84.5% for lecturers and 78% for staff. Regression analysis found that only exposure to VMTS information through various media had a significant effect, while demographic factors did not. Planned follow-up includes stronger VMTS communication through digital and print channels, lecturers presenting the VMTS at the start of courses, briefings by faculty leaders in staff meetings, and a policy making survey participation mandatory.
Method
Online questionnaire on a 1–4 Likert scale (1 strongly not understood – 4 well understood) for students, lecturers, and administrative staff; 517 respondents. Scores of 3–4 count as understood.
