Metal-Day gives Metallurgical Engineering students a chance to take initiative beyond the lecture hall. Through the volleyball tournament, the students organized an inter-school event from the planning stage through to match day.

Fourteen high school teams joined the competition, with all matches held at UNJANI’s Bandung campus, home of the Faculty of Manufacturing Technology.

After a series of matches, two teams earned their place in the final:

  • SMA KP Ciparay

  • SMA Perkasa Sumedang

The championship match was played in front of supporters from both schools, deciding the top team of the Metal-Day tournament.

For FTM UNJANI, events like this also give high school students a first-hand look at campus life and a closer introduction to Metallurgical Engineering, while promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Metal-Day shows that FTM UNJANI students are active not only in academics but also in creating positive experiences for young people. Stay up to date with the latest news and activities from the Faculty of Manufacturing Technology at https://appftm.unjani.ac.id.
